9 Ways to Highlight Your Assets (MTF Transgender / Crossdressing Tips)

Highlighting your assets is the secret to being a super hot crossdresser or transgender woman. It’s impossible for people to notice your “flaws” if they’re too busy looking at something else – like your sexy legs, breasts, or behind. But it’s NOT about wearing the tightest, shortest thing you can find. It’s about attracting attention in a classy and tasteful way. Here are 9 ways to show off your best assets:
If your LEGS are your best asset …
The most elegant and flattering skirt length is generally 1-2 inches above or below the knee. (Notice I did NOT say crotch length!) Here’s a simple test for finding the best skirt length for your body:
- Stand in front of a mirror wearing the shoes you normally wear with skirts or dresses.
- Hold up a piece of fabric and raise and lower the hemline of the fabric in front of your legs.
- Notice which length make your legs look best.
Although pantyhose isn’t as popular as it used to be, hosiery adds polish and definition to the legs. It’s also a great way to cover up imperfections. The secret is to wear the sheerest pantyhose you can find for a sexy, modern look.

If your BREASTS are your best asset …
The easiest way to show off beautiful breasts is to wear a low cut top – and v-necks are especially flattering. But how low is too low? A good rule of thumb is to show off 20%-40% of your bust. This gives you sex appeal, while keeping it classy.
Look for tops that frame your breasts
Another flattering option is to wear tops that frame your breasts. Think halter tops or tops that have shirring or trimming at the bustline. The more defined the bust area, the more “the girls” will stand out.

If your BUTT is your best asset …
Ruching (i.e. gathering along the seam line) adds volume to your curves and highlights your assets. It’s one of the easiest ways to make a great butt look even better.
A yoke is a piece of fabric located below the waistband of a skirt or pants. The shape of the yoke has a major effect on the appearance of your butt. Sweet heart and “v” shaped yokes are most flattering. Stay away from straight yokes (they make your waist look larger) and wide yokes (they make it look like your pants are falling down).

7 Tips for Feminizing Your Body Movements

The way you move is a huge part of your feminine image.
But what if you feel you have all the grace of a truck driver?
The good news is that there are some simple techniques for feminizing your body movements.
In a previous article, I explained how to walk like a woman. Now let’s talk about how to make your gestures and deportment more graceful and feminine.
Here are my top 7 tips for feminizing your body movements:
It’s common to speed up your movements when you feel nervous or self-conscious. This can make you appear jerky and clumsy.
To look more poised, avoid rushed movements. Every move you make should be deliberate and precise. Take your time as you sit down, stand up, gesture, and reach for things.
I know you’ve probably been told this from Day 1, but it’s easy to let old habits slip in – especially if you spend most of your time in “guy mode.” That’s why you need to be conscious about keeping your knees together and your elbows in.
Why elbows in? Because it’s easy to be clumsy when your limbs are spread out all over the place. Keeping your elbows close to your body will instantly make your gestures more graceful.
It’s impossible to move gracefully if you have a tense and tight body. That’s one reason why dancers spend so much time stretching.
You too should make stretching part of your normal routine – particularly before you present yourself as a woman. Here’s a 10 minute full-body stretching routine you can try:
Fidgeting makes you look awkward and insecure, so avoid nervous movements like:
- Twirling your hair
- Biting your nails
- Shaking your leg
- Tapping your fingers
- Compulsively checking your phone
Instead, practice the art of graceful stillness! You will look confident and in control of yourself.
There’s a lot to be learned from studying poised, elegant women. Pay attention to the way they move and carry themselves in public.

If you’re really serious about becoming a graceful, elegant woman, then I highly recommend taking dance classes. The grace and coordination you’ll learn through dancing will carry over into your day-to-day life.
Any type of dance class is helpful, be it belly dance, salsa, or ballet. If you’re shy about showing up for instruction en femme, take salsa classes in “male mode.” You’ll also get some awesome hip movement training!
Finally, remember that being graceful takes practice. I recommend practicing your movements and gestures in front of a mirror. Or, better yet, record a video of yourself so you can evaluate your movements objectively.
Here are some specific movements to practice:
- Sitting down
- Standing up
- Gesturing as you speak
- Greeting other people with a hand shake or air kiss
- Table manners
- Getting into and out of a car

How to Look Extra Sexy This Summer (MTF Transgender / Crossdressing Tips)

Summer is around the corner (here in the Northern Hemisphere at least) and I couldn’t be more excited!
While warm weather has its beauty challenges, summer a great time to be a girl. There’s nothing like stepping out en femme in a cute sundress or sexy bikini.
Ready to turn a few heads this season?
Here are 7 tips – specifically for crossdressers and transgender women – to help you look extra sexy and feminine this summer.
1. Don a pair of oversized sunglasses
Oversized sunglasses are trendy, sexy, and glamorous. The secret to pulling them off in style is to choose flattering frames:
- If you have angular features, choose rounded frames to balance out your face.
- If you have a round face, angular frames are most flattering.
2. Highlight your hair
Nothing says summer like highlights, so add some highlights to your hair or pick up a highlighted wig. By the way, girls of all ethnicities can wear highlights. Auburn or chocolate highlights look fabulous with dark hair.
3. Get a spray tan
Suntans are sexy and make your body look thinner and more toned. But instead of frying in the sun or messing with self tanners, why not indulge in a spray tan from a salon? Spray tans cost $25-$50 and last about a week, so they’re a great thing to do before a special event or girly photo shoot.
4. Change your perfume
Changing your perfume is a great way to get into the mood for summer. Take a break from heavy, musky fragrances and choose something light and fruity for the summer. My current favs are Fresh Sugar Lemon, DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom, and Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh.
5. Go totally bare
There is nothing as sexy as smooth silky skin, so why not go totally bare and remove ALL your body hair for the summer? I guarantee you’ll feel very girly! You’ll also feel cooler and smell fresher – another plus for the feminine experience.
6. Try a colorful eyeliner
Colorful eyeliner is a big trend right now and it’s a perfect look for the summer. Try a touch of blue, green, or purple eyeliner on your upper or lower eyelids. (Avoid pink eye liner since it can make your eyes look tired.) Keep the rest of your makeup muted.
7. Invest in a new dress
For my last tip, I am giving you permission to go shopping! A sexy new sundress is a great way to kick off the summer. Look for flowing, gathered styles to create the illusion of curves.
